Survivor: Livewire Edition

20 members of livewire sign up for Survivor, and one leaves with all 1500 points.

  How the game works:
  1.20 members sign up.
2.the 20 members are split into 2 groups of ten.
3.From there, the teams verse each other in challenges, such as "the first team to have all of their members post a picture of ten ducks wins, no duplicates" for immunity.
  4. each round, the teams compete in 2 challenges. 1 reward challenge, 1 immunity challenge.

  Reward Challenge
Somewhere on this site, hidden amongst the spam, is the secret immunity idol.
the team that wins the reward challenge gets a clue as to it's location.

  Immunity Idol
Once played, the player that posted it is immune for the entire round, and thus cannot be voted off. must be used by the final four.

  Immunity Challenges
Challenges in which the losing team must go to tribal council, and vote one of their own out of the game.

  Tribal Council
each member of the team going to tribal council will send their vote to me (and another person to be decided later, for fairness' reasons). they are voting for who they want out, the player must be on their team. the player with the most votes, is eliminated, unless they play the immunity idol, in which case the person with the second most votes is eliminated.

  Later Game

Once 10 people have been eliminated, like so, they merge into one single group, in which everyone competes on their own. rewards are given to single players, immunity to single players. this continues until we have 2 people left, in which the last nine people who were voted out before hand, vote for which of the two they think should win it.

  The Finals
Once all the votes are in, the person with the most of the 9 votes wins Survivor: Livewire Edition, and 1500 points.

We've already had several versions of this.

No, we've had one that just lasted about 7 months and was an overall disasterl.

Oh yeah, I remember now! Lol. Well it lasted so long it seemed like we'd had it over again.

"Rube Goldberg"

Contestants make a Rube Goldberg doing a simple everyday task. Two separate contests, one for drawing one out, one for making a video. The drawing will obviously be worth less points, because who knows if it would work or not.

Complexity will be priority in the drawing, use of imaginative items and tools are a plus. On the other hand, the video version just needs to work, regardless of difficulty. Although, a certain level of difficulty needs to be met in order to be the minimum.

A Rube Goldberg, in the form of a kids game.

Rules for drawing:
~minimum of 15 different "objects"
`~an object is anything manipulating the "trigger". Not taking into account forces, including but not limited to gravity, air pressure, ect.
~full color, with each new object in a seperate color from the previous
~trigger can be anything that moves, or starts the machine.
~must do a daily chore or task in the modern, 4 bedroom house, including but not limited to turning on a light, flushing the toilet, ect.

Rules for video:
~minimum of 5 different objects
~must have a timestamp and username at beginning, middle, and end of video, may it be a piece of paper you are holding up, or a drawing on your body. This is to ensure legitness. Yes. Legitness.
~must do a daily chore or task in the modern, 4 bedroom house, including but not limited to turning on a light, flushing the toilet, ect.

Legitness.

I love this contest, but the rules for the video are too strict. Drop that timestamp shit. I'll only enter this as long as I can just upload a video from my mobile phone. If I can't do that, there isn't a chance.

Ya, I guess it could work if it had a certain something visible in the background or something. Like 2 spoons, just something random.

Ok my Idea time.
 Photo Edit contest

Basically a contest where people take any random photo and edit it in interesting and creative ways.

 RULES

 1. Must have before and after shots. So you would have the photo before you started and then the finished product.

 2. No nudity or explicit language

 3. Must state editing program.

 4. Up to 3 enteries per person but only one entry can place (1st 2nd 3rd)

 5. Prizes are only awarded to 1st 2nd 3rd in the three catagories -Most creative
                      -Most deep/meaningful
                     -The funniest

 6. Have fun =]

I don't really like this one because it's not really fair, to be honest. Not everyone has a photo editing software and it would be unfair if one member used a software like Photoshop.

I don't know, just my opinion. The overall idea is great - however, I don't believe that all members have a fair chance.

There could be like a paint photo editing catergorie though

I'm not sure how well my contests would go over with the members of LiveWire. I'm confident and content in what I do. Whether I make the $12, $6, 1000 points or whatever was offered, it doesn't matter to me whether I win or not. I just want to throw some ideas out there. If I win, that's great! If not, its no dirt of my shoulder.

My first idea of a contest involves Floam. Why? Because I love creating projects with Floam and its great fun!! I think it would be neat to have a 'Floam Creating Contest'. Members can choose any of the topic categories and design projects for them.

My second idea of a contest involves Nintendo. I love gaming!! My friends call me a gamer dork. I don't deny it. I thought it would be a great project for fellow LiveWire gamers. My idea involves making a Nintendo related project. I got the idea after seeing an article in Nintendo Power magazine last month. A woman made a Duck Hunt lamp (it actually worked!!). The base was Mario-Duck Hunt NES Cartridge and the lamp post was the official Duck Hunt gun. And the shade was painted with Duck Hunt background.

*~Happy Friday Everyone!!~*
