I have been depressed for a long time.  I started getting these feelings when I was in fourth grade.  Ever since I get depressed on and off.  Some times its worse than others but it always comes back.  They tried to put me on pills but I don't want them.  I just want to feel normal.

This is on the behalf of the member HatesYou:

So do you have any inclination as to what
exactly might be making you feel depressed?
Perhaps the only resolution here, is to try and get out of the house more often.
You know, hang out with friends, party, chillllllllllll.
Try and forget about all the useless shit stressing you out or wearing you down.
Music is a nice solution as well. You are always welcome to simply turn up the volume and drown out your depression.
The pills you've been provided with are there to help you.
To help you manage and get through the depression.
Sometimes dick's with PHD's can only do so much you know?
They've always helped me out loads, anyway.
Well, drugs in general have helped me out.
In terms of wanting to feel normal, i'm quite sorry you feel that way.
Define normal. Honestly, everyone's a little weird and everyone experiences a similar feeling to yours. You're most definitely not alone, dear anonymous.

I wish you the best of luck, and even though my post might not have helped you at all, i hope you find the fact that i read and understand your situation, helpful.

Nobody ever loses their memory.
It just gets locked away like the mad woman in the attic.
Occasionally you hear her scream,
But you don't dare unlock the door and look in.
