Definitely not that high. Washington state's minimum wage is $8.07 an hour, which is the highest out of any other state in the US, and only the city of San Francisco itself has a higher minimum wage (somewhere around $9 something an hour, I believe).

Unless I'm doing a project for fun, I wouldn't work for less than $25/hr. Even that has to be on something I care about, otherwise in the $40 to $50 per hour range.
