and this pretty much throws any reason I would have for making a new thread out of the window

  • not too many people speak on the black middle class

  • not too many people speak on the divisions inside the black community

  • never seen the effects of the crack boom outside of drug films like New Jack City.

    Yeah, I liked it too.

    I may be reading too much into this, but my only gripe was how all of the successful Black people they showed were very lightskinned, border-line white. Not that they are any less Black, but it did make me raise an eyebrow
