If you are a musician, actor, dancer, comedian, magician, or other performing artist, post here and tell us what you do, how long you've been doing it, what kind of performances you give, etc. I'll start: I sing and play piano and act a bit, and I try to dance lol. I play piano. I do recitals with my teacher's other students and I do solos for school concerts. I've been playing for about two years. Right now, I'm learning the second and third movement to Beethoven's sonata in C# Minor. I tried out for this modeling agency for summer wear, but I didn't get picked...oh well.

I'm kinda similar to you. i have sang for a long time and have acted for a long time. I have been in two musicals footloose and seussical with my school. i was nominated for an award in our states tony-like awards program. Recently i had my recital for singing in which i soloed with an italian aria that i knocked out of the park. Heres to all u other musicians out there.

This year will be my fourth year in a choir and the odd time I sing by myself. I plan to audition for my school's musical next year but other than that I don't really do any perfoming. Unless you wanna count choir camp, heh :)

I do a bit of everything. I've only started acting and my small amount of dancing in the last year though. I have been in two productions, my first "Zesty Slap Dash," was a variety show in which I ended up having a very short speaking part and a song (Monty Python's "Lumberjack Song"). My second performance was a series of skits in a talent show. But other then my theater productions, I am a firm believer that "All the world's a stage." I don't need a reason to break into song/dance/theatrics. I pretty much do whatever comes to mind that I think would be fun (much to the amusment of others and more importantly myself). I have been playing instruments for eight years (trumpet and baritone). I have been singing in public for about seven months and (break) dancing for about six. I don't really know how to dance but the little break dancing I know is fun so I do it whenever the mood strikes.

I am an actress. I live for those moments on stage. I have been in 6 school plays, and have loved every one of them. I also really love dancing and I used to take lessons, but I stopped quite some years ago, but I still enjoy doing it, mostly when I'm in my room listening to music and nobody's looking. I'm a closet singer, not literally. I mean I sing in the shower and when I'm driving my car. I have no musical talent though. My secret ambition is to be on Broadway, though that's probably one of those dreams that won't come true.
