I like Scott Westerefeld, John Marsden, J.K. Rowling, Susan Beth Pfeffer, to name authors I have multiple books of.

As for favorite book? I can probably say that's I'll never have a favorite because I love all the books I read with a different love than the one after it, but the one book I have a particular soft spot for is The Catcher in the Rye.
